ARMY FIRE SAFETY TEST ENCLOSURE Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, USA EPC CONTRACTOR: FACILITIES SYSTEM ENGINEERING CORP. DESCRIPTION: A Fire Safety Test Facility wherein the primary system function is emissions control. Exhaust gases/fumes from tests are processed through the Emissions Control System (ECS) where the gases are superheated, then quenched, passed through a lime bed, run through a baghouse, quenched and scrubbed again before being released to the atmosphere. The Distributed Control System (DCS) is the primary method of control for the facility with multiple hard-wired interfaces with various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s).
