DESCRIPTION:

350 MW Natural Gas Fired, Simple Cycle Power Plant consisting of two gas turbine generators.

Plant consists of the following systems that are controlled via the Distributed Control System.

  • (2) Gas Turbine/Generators (Siemens TXP) – Limited Control
  • Electrical power export, monitoring and integral SOE
  • All Balance of Plant Systems – Fuel Gas, Mechanical Auxiliaries, Demin. Water,
    Instrument Air, Oil and Water Systems, etc.

CONTROL EQUIPMENT:

Invensys Systems Inc. (Foxboro) IA DCS with the following components:

  • (2) Dual Screen Operator Workstations
  • (1) Historian/Engineering Workstation
  • (1) Fault Tolerant Control Processor Pair
  • 584 Total I/O Supplied:  80 AI  16 AO  320 DI  112 DO  48 SOE  8 TC
