DESCRIPTION:

220 MW Natural Gas/Oil Fired, Combined Cycle Cogeneration Plant consisting of a single gas turbine generator exhausting into a three pressure Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) supplying steam to a single steam turbine generator.

Thermal export supplies steam to the adjacent International Paper Company mill.

Plant consists of the following systems that are controlled via the Distributed Control System.

  • Gas Turbine/Generator (GE – Frame 7F) – Limited Control
  • Non-reheat Steam Turbine Generator (General Electric)
  • Heat Recovery Steam Generator (Deltak)
  • Duct Burner (Coen)
  • Auxiliary Boiler (Foster Wheeler)
  • >Export Steam Systems, (HP @ 1450 PSIG)
  • Electrical power export, monitoring and integral SOE

All Balance of Plant Systems – Condensate, Feedwater, Fuels, Mechanical Auxiliaries, etc.

Siemens Moore Process Automation APACS DCS with the following components:

  • (2) Dual Screen Operator Stations
  • Engineering Workstation
  • Historian Server
  • Redundant I/O Servers
  • (3) Redundant Advanced Controller Module Pairs
  • (4) Non-redundant Controller Modules
  • (2) Remote cabinets to handle specific areas of the plant
  • 1600 Total I/O Supplied:  300 AI  84 AO 716 DI  340 DO  144 TC  16 PI
