DESCRIPTION: Control of the following equipment that supplies demineralized water to Boilers #5, #7, #8 (325 PSIG), and Boilers #9, #10 (900 PSIG): 5 – Pre-Filters (Permutit) 3 - Demineralization (Cation/Anion) Trains (Permutit) Industrial water booster pumps (Governon Control) Demin water storage tank level control Demin water flow control CONTROL EQUIPMENT: Allen-Bradley SLC500 PLC with the following components: 5/04 Processor 464 Total I/O Supplied: 36 AI 8 AO 272 DI 144 DO 4 TC (2) – Gateway 2000, PC’s with W95 Operating System and Wonderware HMI software SPECIAL FEATURES: Re-used the existing cabinets and field terminals ACS was responsible for the field installation and the whole system turn-around was completed in 7 working days.
